Design Steps & Products

Base Plan

Every design needs a place to start. A base plan is a simple, black and white drawing of what you already have on site with the major elements labeled. This provides the basis for all design and graphics for the site and is required for all projects.

Site Analysis and Client Goals

This is where we talk about your goals for the site to inform a design that suits you. We also look at the site conditions to help us know what’s realistically possible on site and ensure that we set the landscape up for success.

Concepts and Inspirations

This will give you a few different ideas of what your landscape could be. Photos from similar projects or nature are included as inspiration for what the design envisions for the landscape.

Construction Doc

This type of graphic is optional for those who are looking for a more detailed plan that they can give to an installer to make the design happen. It provides dimensions and instructions to help the design get installed correctly.

Planting Design

Looking for a list of exact plant species, placements, and quantities? You’ll want to get a planting design layout with your package!

Available Extra Graphics

This is where you really start to get an idea of how your design will feel! Available options are section drawings, perspectives, and 3d renderings of your site.
