For the love of plants, pollinators, & people

My approach centers on the coming together of science and art. I have the ability to make the world a better place for the people and wildlife that lives here. Beautiful design presentations help those who don’t think about plants or our ecosystem every day to see how stunning and functional our landscapes can be.

A lush Maryland front yard transformed into a native plant oasis, featuring layered drifts of coneflower, black-eyed Susan, little bluestem, and winterberry shrubs surrounding a sinuous permeable stone path. The planting beds are edged with clean steel edging and a small, shallow wildlife-friendly basin filled with smooth river stones. Soft late-afternoon natural light casts warm highlights on seed heads and textured foliage, with gentle shadows defining the curves of the path. Photographic realism at eye level, composed using the rule of thirds to emphasize the inviting path and habitat-rich plantings. The mood is welcoming and serene, conveying an elegant, ecologically grounded residential landscape that feels both designed and natural.
